Pfizer Uses Modular Office to Create Space for Personnel
Challenge: Pfizer Inc., a leading pharmaceutical company had a major distribution center located in Parsippany, New Jersey and they decided to consolidate regional centers into this Parsippany NJ location. Faced with a need to expand their facility to accommodate new personnel, management initially looked at a traditional expansion solution. That option proved to be too costly and time consuming.
Because of Pfizer’s favorable experience using The Modular Office Company in the past, Pfizer decided to contact us to discuss their space issue. We made a site visit and were informed that a solution had to be identified and implemented within 6 weeks.
Solution: After conducting a design review, we determined that by rearranging the warehouse floor-plan, installing a free standing mezzanine and relocating an existing in-plant office to the mezzanine floor, we would be able to provide sufficient space for existing and transferring personnel. As a result, space on the main floor would be freed up to accommodate storage requirements.
Pfizer decided to move forward with the project. The materials were delivered quickly and our team was able to complete the project within the 6 week timeframe.
